If you attempt to take a picture of a cute little ginger kitten
sitting in the bell of your sax:
- it is obviously a good idea to stuff something down the bell
to stop the kitten getting its feet caught in the toneholes
(I used a ball of silk-covered quilt batting I'd made as a
pull-through but which turned out to be too big).
- it is not such a good idea to forget about it, take the sax
to a pub session and spend the whole evening fiddling with
the reed and wondering why the hell you can't get the lowest
notes to speak.
