We decided to treat ourselves and spent Saturday and Sunday
nights at an Econo Lodge in Raleigh, and went to see Weird Al in
concert on Sunday night.  We got home around 3 this afternoon.
Folks, if you get a chance to see Weird Al in concert, take it.
Even from the cheap seats in the nosebleed section, it was fun
and worth it.  The next Weird Al concert, we're going to move up
a section or two on tickets.  He did multiple costume changes
during the concert, but we weren't bored as there was video on
the screen on stage.  I was laughing so hard I was crying during
some of his "interviews."  Most of the music was from his new
album, but he did perform some oldies as well.  We had a blast.

I won't be able to answer all the messages I want, but it was
worth it to get a couple of days away from home.

Sounds like a blast Pam S.  My husband has always been a Weird Al fan.
Is he doing a national tour?

Yup.  I saw a paragraph in the local paper last week and told
Mike about it.  He's a bigger fan than I am, if possible. Dates

My son and I are fans, and would love to see him in person.  I found his
website and, sure enough, he'll be doing a show in Los Angeles.  However, it
will be the day before I come home from Australia.  I sent my son the
information anyway, in case he can find somebody to go with him.  I know he
won't go alone.

Sounds like a good time was had by all Pam and you certainly deserve a
time to relax and have fun.  Do you have any big plans for Rob's
birthday?

Rob's birthday was June 22.  He made it to 45.  His 6 month
anniversary of the Glioblastoma Multiforme diagnosis will be on
the 15th.  His 5 year anniversary of the original cancer
diagnosis is on the 21st.  We plan to celebrate on September 1st,
somehow.  We are open to suggestions.

Pam S. grateful for every day.

For some reason I thought his birthday was in August. I know yours is
in September, now I'm wondering who's birthday is in August. Who am I
forgetting?
