I just handwashed a pair of skirts and hung them up on the drying rack
in the craftroom... They were still dripping a lot, so I draped a
clean towel over the bottom of the rack to keep the floor dry (our
tiles are extremely dangerous when they're wet, as I found out just
the other day when I stepped in a puddle and got an express ride to
the floor...) Scouty immediately made herself at home on the towel -
she thought that curve of the rack made a lovely little nest for her
to lie in... Tessie appeared to investigate and Scouty was ready to
defend her territory - but then she realised that the 'nest' was
getting dripped on and she was getting WET!
Now it's Silver's turn to investigate... I wonder how long she'll take
to figure out that it's not a desirable place to lie? Not long -
Scouty came bounding out of her box and Silly bolted... and now
Scouty's investigating the towel once more. She REALLY wants to lie on
it, she just doesn't like the idea of the added water! So now we have
Tessica in Scouty's box, Silver lying on one side of the drying rack
with most of her body on the towel, and Scouty on the other, also with
most of her body on the towel, and the skirts hanging in between them
dripping...

I like this one best:-) You can name it an artwork. It's amazing, how
symmetrical your cats are resting:-)
