Until yesterday Waffles was resplendent in sleek black fur - her summer coat. Yesterday, without warning, she went into fluff mode - full winter plumage with big fluffy black fur. How does she do this instantaneously??? Obviously the Mothership is involved somehow! I suspect it's not quite that simple, because I seem to have a lot of cat hair everywhere at home this time of year. Only girlfriends and boyfriends of my cats can do that, and Frank is going steady with Waffles, and Nikki has several beaus already. I think Jazz is the latest notch on her cardboard box.
