Playful Persia

Persia is mostly sedentary (which would account for her being "fluffy").  I
try to interest her in playing with toys but she's only interested for a
couple of minutes (even the laser pointer).  Last night was slightly
different, though.  She got that wild look in her eyes, tail lashing, and
charged after a small stuffed mouse, tossing it in the air and pouncing on
it.  Then she went after the large crinkly mylar ball so I tossed that for
her for a few minutes.  Then she assaulted her catnip filled kitty-sock and
gave it a good bunny-kicking, rolling around on the floor.  After that, she
decided it needed a good washing so she settled down and proceeded to groom
it.  Then it was nap time :)

Weebles sends Mrrps and Purrs to His Preshus Persia (he's been mrrping,
nyowing and crying as he plays with--not his purple puffball--but a *milk
ring*!  At least he was until it "bit me in da butt, Mommy - it a bad milk
ring!!!"  Silly Weebs.

Hee hee, the less expensive the item, the more the kitty likes it. :)
But how does a milk ring bite a cat in the butt?? :)

It probably just bounced behind him and bopped him in the butt - and that
scared him (should have seen him jump!).  Poor boy can be so fraidy
sometimes!  Sometimes I will see him dart into a room, growling and then
swatting at his own tail!  I can't figure out if he thinks that the fuzzy
snake is biting him in the butt (getitoffgetitoff!) or he just used the
litterbox and it stunk - so he's trying to beat the stink out of his tail!

Speaking of litterboxes...

Friday night, doing my evening scooping, I lifted the lid from one of the
boxes, and there was a *foot* long turd in it!  Not buried in the least!
And at least one third of it was curved up the side of the box - almost as
if it were trying to escape!  I burst out laughing and DH thought I was
kookoo (at least more so than I already am)

It is very bad when the neighborhood couger drops by to use your
litter box.

Good Lord! I can barely produce anything that long! (Sorry, TMI, I know. :))

There she goes again, laughing at the litterbox! :)

That's where having more than one cat is useful - they
exercise each other!  There are always several games of
"tag" durng the day, which keeps both of them active
(between naps). ;-)  Of course, that's assuming they get
along with each other, but mine do - even hold mutual
grooming sessions.
