I have fallen in love with Jim Shore figurines of cats.  I found a
birdhouse while at Amelia Island
http://www.cherrylanecollection.com/html/9119.html and DH has given me
a windchime for my birthday that I adore
http://www.cherrylanecollection.com/html/14599.html

His official site is: http://www.jimshore.com/shop/

I don't have any financial interest in his business but wanted to
share something that I've found that I think everyone might enjoy.

That birdhouse is hilarious.  Don't let it give your furbabies any
ideas, though.

LOL! I just had this mental image of my furbabies imitating the
birdhouse but since they're indoor only cats, the image is of Barnabus
sitting on the cat tree looking out the window with his mouth wide
open and the bird sitting on the hanging birdbath just looking at him
thinking, "the cat has lost it".

Thanks for the laugh! Julie

I have this one on my desk at work - I'm looking forward to getting more of
the collection.

I like that one, but then I like all of them. I like his non cat work
as well.

I've bought some of the Jim Shore Christmas figurines...all of them are cat
related....Santa holding a cat, Angel holding a cat, Snowman holding a cat.
I love them!  In fact, I keep the angel one out all year.

These are so cute and very affordable.  I can see why you love
them so much.  Now if he only made salt and pepper shakers...

Pam S. who's looking at collecting only cat salt and pepper
shakers and snuff bottles (very cute and collectable)

I have a very small collection of cat salt and pepper shakers too.
They take up very little room and generally I can find ones that
aren't terribly expensive.
