Thanks Jill!

Yes, Pale Male now has several children living around parklands in the
five boroughs.  There are a few in Brooklyn, in the park and
cemetery--  one of his daughters lives in the park near my home.
This son decided to live close to "home" around Central Park.

This particular photographer would do well by Bittman and the birds on
Telegraph Hill in San Franscisco.  Mark moved away a few years ago but dang,
what great shots!  Love the photos of pale males' progeny.
