I took a short video of Shadow sitting in the garden this evening, after
he'd eaten. It's a bit jerky because I took handheld from the other side of
the garden.

Wow. That's "Tom" face if ever I've seen one! How goes progress of
domestication?

Very slow, he's less trustfull since his TED visit. He's got food and
shelter so there's no hurry now he's been neautered.

So he forgave you for his snip and came back, eh?  I thought he would, same
as Boyfie did.
I love those big fat tomcat cheeks that Shadow has, Boyfriend still has his
even after about 2 years now since his visit to the vet.
When my cousin saw him a while ago she said "Wow, what a beautiful colour he
is and just *look* at his fat face and smile, just like the "Cheshire Cat."
Boyfie always looks as if he is smiling.  And why wouldn't he ;-)
(As he eats some mussels and ham left over from leaving-do lunch at work)

I'm pretty sure once they have those jowls, they have them for life.  That's
why I kind of drag my feet when getting a tom kitten fixed.  I'd rather wait
till eight or ten months if they aren't going out and aren't spraying the
furniture.

Those fat tomcat cheeks will be there for the rest of Boyfie's life. Tigger,
Hugh's owner was done late (18 months) and 4 years later he still has them

Mussels and ham! Expect a knock on the door any moment and when you open it
there will be two little black lady cats looking at you and one will say "I
am Dunzi and I'm cute and I'll cry if you don't let us in and you wouldn't
want that would you?"

And the other will say "I'm Sarsi and I'm coming in!"

I wonder where I was on June 21, I missed this as well.  Shadow looks
a lot like my Barnabus but Barnabus says I'm not a good catslave, I
don't provide him with a beautiful garden to enjoy.  Now I'm in the
d*ghouse <sigh>.

I'm still earning Shadow's trust after his TED visit, if I get to close at
the moment he hisses at me.
