Insufficient Badness

Kumani and Tyche set off with DP in the mini-van this morning for our
new place (1000 km away).  I will be staying with Nocturne and Smokey
in the old place for the next 4 weeks.

What am I going to do without bitty badness?  I went to sleep last
night with Tyche sprawled over my hip (little paws hanging down
leopard-style) and woke up at 5 am with a headkumani purring up a
storm!

Nox had figured out last night already that something was up and she
is NOT AMUSED by the latest human stupidity.  She was cranky last
night and is bound to be alternatively clingy and abusive tonight as
she realizes that not only her man-servant, but her two little minions
as well, are absent from her kingdom *ahem*  The Democratic Federal
Republic of Nocturnia, my bad.

Wait - you are more or less alone with Nocturne, and you feel that
you have insufficient badness? I believe she might be insulted by this -
better watch out.

Good luck with the rest of the move! I was just thinking of you this
morning when someone else posted about Halifax.

...yeah, I'm screwed.  Time to start working on my legal defence.  I
did, after all, specify "bitty badness," not "badness of a dark and
nox-ious variety," of which I still have plenty...

Aww, that's hard. I'm kind of glad (though sad for the cats) that I
couldn't take the cats to the island for Midsummer and leave them there
for a week while I came back to work. That's what I've usually done, and
the flat always feels so very empty without the cats.
