Pong goes to his new home!

<sniff>

He's still a "strange kitty" around here, but that won't mean I won't miss
him. :(

But it is for the best - we caught Ping *spraying* the other day!
Fortunately, he was on the dresser and only got the mirror, so it was easily
cleaned up.

Is he fixed? Does his new owner know? I'm just worried they will dump him or
something if he sprays.

It was Ping that sprayed, not Pong, Ping isn't going anywhere.

Yes, Pong is fixed.  He has a new name - Sajja.  They brought DH thier
carrier and they had a collar with a tag that had his new name & their
number on it, and he brought both home with him.  Pong/Sajja doesn't seem to
mind wearing his new collar. They also gave Jeff a check for his vet visit
($114).

It wasn't Pong/Sajja that sprayed, it was the resident Ping (also neutered)
that sprayed.  He did it the other day, too, but that was in a litterbox.
It was a few seconds after he first met Pong/Sajja, so I'm assuming that was
his opinion of him.

They won't "dump" him!  They know that if things don't work out, they can
bring him back to us.  Also, the Mom (DH's co-worker) has her own spoiled
cat (that both her duaghter's were wanting to take with when they moved out)
and three spoiled Yorkies.  They are *not* the pet-dumping kind!

He just wanted to make sure you understood that the number of cats in
your household has become unacceptable. :) Or maybe he just didn't like
Pong?

In any case, congrats on his new home, but sorry you have to say
goodbye to the cutie!

Bad Ping!  ;-)  You're lucky.  Back before I moved into my current
apartment (oh so long ago), I lived in a one-bedroom, and had, I think,
one cat at first (can you believe that?  What is life like with one cat?
I forget!).  I adopted Circe, and was told Circe was a female.  Well,
I was a bit lacking in cat education at the time.  I saw Circe back up
to a wall and "pee".  Even worse, I asked the vet about it, who
apparently didn't get it, either!  It got figured out eventually, and I
sure came to know that smell!
