First off - thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.  It has
provided us with more comfort than you can imagine!

and we did get a chance to see Pippy at the animal hospital this
evening... I posted some details about our visit and a few pictures.
Please read about it on his blogger site:

It's been crazy the past few days - emotionally, financially and
physically.  Everyone's help has, and continues to be
overwhelming!  :)

I'm so happy that he came through! Purrs that he will continue to
recover quickly.

I like to sew, and I'm usually very careful about pieces of thread. But
after this, I'm going to be a maniac about it!!

Me too.   My sewing 'room' takes over most of my apartment!  However,
neither Fin(RB) or Rita has ever shown the slightest inclination to
chew on thread, but there's always a first time.....

Dear Pippy's Captors, he is still in our thoughts.  Hope he gets a
good rest, and continues to improve.

31 inches!!!! Oh my I'm so glad you got him in when you did. I'm sure
he will come back from the surgery. Will keep Pippy and you in my
thoughts.
