Cats don't like oranges. Baggy just knocked an orange off the table and
spent ten minutes batting round the room. I was laughing so much, he had
that wide eyed f'rocious cat look on his face. He seems particularly
happy today.

Care to put some $ on that Adrian? :)

My Fancy, Prancy, Nancy Boy loves those little canned mandarin
oranges.  But then, Louie has many so many strange quirks, that to
list them all, I'd probably be late to work this morning.

And in all honesty Adrian, it really wouldn't be a fair bet, because
ever since the $1,000 tooth thing this past summer, I won't let him
eat anything with any sort of sugar in it.  He gets cat food and
water.  And an occasional bite of chicken or tuna, but if I were to
open a can of those little oranges right now, he'd come running.  (he
knows how long the can opener stays on for that size of can)

I once had a cat who would climb into my lap and demand his share of
any orange I was eating. Same cat also liked dill pickles. Another
loved lime popsicles.

No, I did NOT combine any two of these three items, let alone all
three. Even *I* am not THAT weird. :-)

Jack likes ranch dressing (plain), mayonnaise, dried mango, and raw
broccoli.  He turns his nose up at meat of any kind.

Weeble likes apples & pears - also bread, cheese and a little tase of
anything we're eating.  Smokey likes chicken, but french fries will do as
well.

Yea, Gidget likes cheese, but only if it's shredded.  Fine, or coarse,
doesn't seem to matter, but if I offer it to her cubed or sliced, it
doesn't interest her at all.

But hey, shredded cheese is just plain fun.

Nina in Texas, sounds as if Jack, like my daughter, is a selective
vegetarian.  ; >

Could be, bonbon; we offered him ranch dressing with bacon and he
sneezed at it!  But he does eat his dry catfood.

I once had a Persian who was mad for tomatoes, and
Rusty-of-loving-memory ate almost anything white: chicken, rice,
bread, marshmallows (of which he got one fingernail-sized piece about
three times a year, but he recognized the bag every time and climbed
my leg, yelling "ma-ma-yo!!"), etc.
