Awwww. You definitely did well, but I know you must miss the bitty,
considering how attached you are to the kitties that you only know
from work.

Aww, that sounds hard! But like you said, you can't have another cat.
And I think that'll come back, as soon as you're not quite as distraught
about having to give him up. His new environment sounds like a better
one for him, without a bunch of hissy older cats bapping him all over
the place!

I know how hard that must have been but I think you've done the right thing
for all concerned.

I wish you could have kept him (purely for selfish reasons I loved
hearing the tales of Stinky Nick) but you did the best thing for him.
I hope the lady will keep you posted about him and his new slaves

Awwww. I know that was tough. Frankly I don't know how people who foster
can do it! But I'm proud of you!

Yeah, originally I was only "fostering" Cendrillon until we
could find a home for her! (And only then because the
building manager had a cat who REFUSED to share "his"
apartment with another cat, however temporary.)
Unfortunately, she and Melisande bonded almost immediately,
and when she came in heat and I found myself footing the
bill for an unexpected surgery, I figured the only way I
could "recoup" the financial outlay was to "collect" in
purrs and companionship!

I'm so sorry you had to let him go, but you certainly did well by him.

It is so hard to let them go when you've become attached. Breaks my
heart every time I've done it.
But you did a good thing for Nick, and I hope you will always remember
that, and know that he is a happy, well-cared for, kitty.
