The vet called me this morning. She said Lindy's thyroid is a little off, but it can be treated. Everything else is fine. Whew! She wants to do a 30-day trial of the medication, and said I should watch her for side effects. I asked, and she said I can wait until I get back from Alaska to start the medication, so I can keep an eye on her. I picked it up, so I'll have it ready to start as soon as I get home. But later test showed his thyroid was normal. Rusty is 13 years old and I learned that thyroid problems are pretty common among older cats, and humans too. Rusty will purr for Lindy.
