Rudy, a siamese mix, cannot resist drinking straws!!!
I cannot drink ANYTHING... iced tea, water, etc. with a straw without
him stealing my straw.
I have to give him a NEW straw to distract him from taking the one fro
my drink.
Okay... he's cuter than a bug's ear, but it's annoying!!! :)
I'm hoping he'll out grow it since he's only 5 months old... I'v
forgotten "kitten" behavior since my last cat passed on at 21 year
old... RIP, Cammo. :(
I still miss her, but DON'T compare Rudy to her.
He's VERY sweet... just more active than I remember. LOL!
I attiribute his adaptation to my dog, Chester, to Chester's swee
personality! I expect to submit pictures of them cuddled up t
Chester's tolerance. LOL!
Rudy loves to cuddle... but our living room looks like a day car
center with kitty toys. Actually, Rudy looks like "ET" in Chester'
toy box! He loves the dog toys, too!
We have to close the bathroom door because Rudy wants to be in th
shower or in our "dropped drawers" while we're in there.
Good thing we love him. LOL

I think Stinky has a soul mate! Or is it Dante? Sorry, Theresa, I
can't remember.

You'll spend his kittenhood waiting for him to grow up and stop being
so annoying, and once he's an adult you'll reminisce about how cute he
was as a kitten. :) That's what I always do.

And NIna. =o) Nina also tries to steal drinking straws from my glass
whenever I'm foolish enough to try drinking anything through a straw
at home.
Rudy sounds adorable, though! Kittens are rambunctious--it's their
job.

Good ol' Stinky... and Dante!
Not to worry, I won't wish away his kittenhood. :) It's just hard t
believe it has been over 21 years since I experienced all thi
activity. LOL!
I'm happy to see I don't have the only thief

My Betty (Boop, head fulla poop) also loves straws. Right now there are two
in the bathtub (they can't escape!), and every evening there are one or two
in the bed. She will 'fetch' them if we throw them off the bed - bring them
back to be thrown again!!! Many times she will bring it back and drop them
in our hands!

You have to starve them.

Don't hold your breath. ;) My Dante is almost two, and a confimed
straw thief. Of course he collects them from around the house, and
puts them back in bed with me when I'm sleeping, so he tries
restitution. ;)

Nina just carries them all over the house in her mouth and disciplines
them when she feels they've been badly behaved. Which is often. =o)
She's three, so I'm afraid you're doomed to a certain number of "high
octane pussycat" years ahead.

Tank likes hair ties. There are dozens under the refrigerator. We have to
keep them in a drawer or they get stolen.
