Ridiculous WalMart Commercial (OT)

I saw the most ridiculous WalMart commercial last night.  It opens with two
Chinese guys standing in front of an assembly line producing some sort of
small electronic gadget, talking away (in Chinese).  The gadgets go along
the conveyor belt and eventually wind up in individual boxes.  Pan camera to
the right to show a couple with a young boy and a WalMart shopping cart
standing next to the conveyor belt as the boy plucks one of the boxes off
the belt and puts it in their cart.  One big happy family!

With all the recent flack about Chinese ingredients poisoning pets and
people, not to mention WalMart selling so much stuff made in China and
people (at least pretending to) boycott WalMart, I was utterly amazed they
would pick now to air a commercial like this!  What kind of advertising
agency do they have?  Shouldn't they have yanked this ad?  Don't these
people read the papers?  It's ludicrous!

Worst ads ever (to me) - Quiznos with two dead rats singing in a high
screeching voice (what ad agency ever thought a dead rat would make a good
image for a restaurant).  I was very, very sick at the time they aired (I
was coming down off of voluntarily cold-turkeying from Neurontin,
Wellbutrin, and Effexor and had been throwing up for 3 straight weeks).
Between the imagery and the nails-on-chalkboard sound bombardment, this
commercial sent me instantly to worship the porceline throne!

Yikes!  I'm on Neurontin now, along with Vicoprofen and Flexeril.  I
hope coming off of those eventually won't make me that sick!

who started physical therapy yesterday.  (staring at several sheets of
exercises to do at home.  Arrrrghhhhhh!)

Gotta go bend my knees or something.

Only if you quit taking it cold-turkey - ask you doctor to give you a
"weaning off" schedule if you want to stop taking them.

Hey, I still can't figure out why Charlie the tuna wanted to be caught
and eaten so these new ads are way beyond me.

Oh, yeah. That's the part I really hate. When they grab their butts
and say "diarrhea". Honestly.
The public doesn't need that kind of visual aid. We can figure out
which part of the anatomy is
affected by di--a--rrhe---a.
