I was out in the yard Saturday putting up my shed. The culmination of a
month of stumping, digging, filling, compacting and putting down the
foundation. Yay! So I was a tad warm Staurday night, even though the house
was not too bad. Like one of those days after too much sun, when you can
just feel the heat pouring out. I was laying on top of the sheets with my
night shirt off when Cali jumped up. She stopped, looked, said "where's your
fur man?" and then ran off. She came back later to see if things had
improved, but left in disgust again.

The other very very warm evening I was lying -- how do I put this delicately
-- buck naked, when Ketzl came onto the bed looking for his usual kneading in
my armpit.
The same thought that crossed Cali's mind crossed his: Where's your fur!?
Unlike you, however, I am trained. I got up, put on my wool shirt, and
surrendered to him. (I hope I didn't make him wait too long.)

Stinky's favorite place to be is usually ON me in some way-- on my
lap, if I'm sitting down, or on my chest, or draped across my legs if
I'm lying down. But the lap sitting stops as soon as I start wearing
shorts in the summer. He'll get as close to me as he can *without*
actually sitting on my (presumably icky) bare legs. What a brave,
loyal boy! ;)
