Went to the store and was wearing one of the t-shirts from an art show last
year. Each year they celebrate one of the exhibiting artists on the
t-shirt. Last years' winner had done a painting of a compilation of other
famous paintings - Whistler's Mother, something by Dali, Picasso, etc. The
man at the shop recognized some of the represented work and he wrote this on
a paper bag and turned it around so I could read it: "If you step on Degas,
it makes the Van Gogh". I cracked up. But maybe you had to be there. ;)

My favorite was always "Baroque is when you have no Monet."
