Please could a Dog have some RB purrs?

Please could Milo have some RB purrs as she makes her journey today?
Milo owns my 86 year old next door neighbour, Mary, and today, because
she has cancer of the kidneys and her quality of life has deteriorated
so much, Mary has had to make the decision to let her go to Rainbow
Bridge. You may remember that Mary had to let Thomas, her elderly 17
year old statescat go to the bridge in February, so he will be waiting
for Milo when she arrives. Mary is understandably extremely upset.

Milo is 14, and as a younger & healtier dog she was the scourge of the
Miles cats, chasing them every time they ventured into her garden. The
only one who could handle her and keep her in line was her own cat,
Thomas. HRFL Tiger used to enjoy tormenting Milo from the top of the
wall because he knew she couldn't reach him, and both Mary and I have
known that Milo has been ill for a while because she was disinterested
in making the effort to chase the Miles felines out of her garden
anymore.

If Milo & Mary could have some Rainbow Bridge purrs as Milo goes on
her final journey, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks
Helen M

How very, very sad for such an elderly person to lose her pets so close
together. Does she have another kitty to keep her company? I sure hope
so... :-(

Mega purrs on the way for Milo, and her grieving human. (PLEASE tell me
she has another pet???).

She doesn't have another pet, unfortunately. However, Miss Lily
Whiskers makes it her business to go next door and say good morning to
Mary as she is eating her breakfast (Mary lets her drink the milk from
her cereal) so I suspect that the Miles felines will take care of the
fact that she needs a four legged supervisor.

Milo made her journey at 3:15pm today and has been burried in the
garden. :( Mary will be buying a rose bush to plant on her grave.

That's good to know.

Awww.  Renewed purrs for Mary and her Milo(RB).  Maybe she wouldn't want to
take on another feline at the moment but if she's in good health it might
make her feel a little better.  None of them can ever be replaced, of
course.  But maybe she would consider adopting an older kitty who needs a
good home and loving mommy.

Consider the prayers prayed and the purrs purred. Nothing makes this
decision easy -- not even knowing that it's the right thing to do.
Please extend our condolences. :o(

P.S. I'm glad the Miles Kitties are making sure that Mary has some
four-legged part-time owners to keep things going smoothly.

Of course.  Purrs for Milo's swift arrival at RB where she will healthy and
happy again and also for Mary who had to make the decision to speed her on
her way.

Purrs from my bunch who love their doggie to pieces.  They and I send
comfort to the human too.

Cherry says that she is glad Miss Lily Whiskers understands her
calling to comfort the neighbor and encourages her to continue.
