I just received a phone call from the e-vet, and he says Katie is not
responding to the treatment as well as he hoped. :( He said that they
were going to sedate her and give her anothe Aerocat treatment, and
then percuss her, to see if they can get some of the gunk out of her
lungs. He said the right lung is pretty clear, but the left one has a
lot more stuff in it. He also said that if she doesn't respond to this
treatment, he is going to suggest we have her PTS. That really s***ks.
She is one of the sweetest cats around, and I pray to Bast that she
will respond to this treatment, and will be able to come home soon. If
she doesn't respond, I am going to ask him if I can bring her home and
continue the treatments here - at least the antibiotics and
percussing.
He said if he doesn't call back in about an hour (9 am EDT, US), she
has responded to treatment. If he calls......
I will keep you updated.

Tell him to try for longer. At least twice as long as the antibiotics are
supposed to work.
Why, because I had an awful infection from my operation and 5 days course
should have worked. It didn't but ten days course did.
Don't give up hope and keep fighting.

I'm so sorry. Lots of purrs that she responds to treatment. It must be
terrible to wait.

Well, it's 2:50 PM PDT (5:50 PM EDT) and there's not been an update.
Purr-vently hoping that no news is good new.
