I am feeling so well now after so long being ill that I have been able to do
lots of things that have been neglected.
Almost everything that needed mending is mended.  I just ignored it before.
Car is mended.  Bl**dy fortune. I have a handbrake again.  I have hot water
again at last and lots of other things that I don't need go into.  It's all
done except the tiling in the kitchen to finish off my new 2004 kitchen.  I
can wait for that.

You should see what I have planted in my garden.  Runner beans etc.

Back to work Tues -(

It's not been speedy,  I've been fighting since 02.  That's why I am so
pleased.

Do remember that it is a lot easier to plant than it is to weed and water,
but I hope your garden grows like crazy.  The plants you want, not all those
opportunists.

(We came home from vacation to find the tomato patch full of weeds and
volunteer tomato plants from prior years)

Thank you.  I've been ill for so long that I forgot what feeling well feels
like. It's fantastic.

I know the feeling ever since the Big "D" with that whirlpool of chaos gone
and it feels great to be able to live again.  I might be old but I feel like
a young man again.  I am very Happy everything is working out for you

That is so wonderful to hear. Especially considering how much pain you
were in just before the surgery.

And it's a good wake-up call to those of us who are healthy, to remember
to appreciate it!

I'm sorry to learn that you were ill for so long. Mazel Tov on feeling better
and (I know it wasn't a typo when you wrote "my new 2004 kitchen", so) I
gather the kitchen has been long in the works. Must be nice to be near the
finish.

Good luck with the garden!

You hadn't joined the group when I scared everyone in 05 (including myself)
by being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Just the tiling now, and a bit of filling above where ripping off the
pretend pine cladding caused some serious holes then that can be painted in
cheerful Primrose yellow.

Thanks.

So glad to hear you're well enough to go back to your real job so you
can maybe take it easy for a bit. :)

I just get a bit spoiled by being at home once I start to feel better and I
can do all these things!  I love it.  I never get bored, there is so much to
do.

I like my job but the commute is awful.
