Hi,

She is recovering from the surgery as well as can be expected, she has a
couple of nurses that are very good, and she is finally getting them to feed
her the right stuff, and she is really ready to be out of there.

She is very upbeat, and practical at the same time.  of all I have read
about Pam and by Pam, none of it does justice to her character,

we talked a long while and I hope I helped her to pass the time.  I remember
being in hospital and how outrageously boring/stressful it is,
