I talked to Pam this evening.  She is still in the hospital.  She said to
tell Stormee many thanks for the package with the clipboard and mechanical
pencils that arrived today.

She had had surgery to clear out the infected tissue and the gangrene.
She's also had a skin graft.  She wore Rob's pink "when pigs fly" hat to the
surgery. She said she does not know how much longer she will be in the
hospital, but she is looking forward to getting out.

The kids brought Rob to see her. He is on chemo again.

This family needs all the purrs, prayers, positive vibrations or whatever
suites your style that they can get.

If you want to send a card, here is the address:

Thanks Annie Spicey and I have been wondering about how Pam & Rob are
doing all week. We send purrs and prayers.

Yes it is, and it is so unfair they have been hit with so much tragedy.
May [Deity of your choice] watch over them.
