The Dreaded Couchnox

>From the same depths of hell as the fearsome Lapnox, scourge of
computer users, and the mighty headnox, reminding you just whose the
pillow is anyway (not yours) comes a new level of evil.

My friend Jon from out of town was over for the weekend.  Dylan has
been in Ottawa for a week and Nocturne has been feeling lonely,
meaning her mood swings from clingy to bitchy.  Nox decided to make
Jon her slave.

She climbed onto the throw pillows that form the back of our couch and
made a nest up there, scorning her usual throne on the back of the
armchair in order to lurk behind Jon's shoulder, where she could bunt
him, or just rest near him emitting dark purrs.

Nox is so large that the pillows slowly slid down off the couch from
the weight of her nest atop them.

Every once in a while he would reach back to pet her and then...out of
nowhere, while purring, she bit him--thereby showing her dominion over
him and binding him as her newest slave.

I told Dylan he'd better come home quick because Nox is on the verge
of replacing him with a new man servant :)

Jon is less than flattered by the new level of abuse.

Keep an eye on Jon, lest he start showing signs of Darkness himself.
This could be like a vampire thing, where once you're bitten, you are
forever one of Them.

Great observation!  You just never know; Jon might be up on the couch
pillows during the night ;)

I've been getting bitten for six years and I've yet to get any fur at
all (much to Nox's disgust).
