I'm hearing thunder in the distance which means Persia just went into the
closet and no sitting on the patio swing for me this afternoon!

You guys might purr a few of those rainstorms toward
Florida, Arizona, Southern California, and all those
brush-fire areas!!!!!

Absolutely!!  The Georgia/Florida fires must be horrendous from
all I've heard and read.  Yesterday, my son came in from working in
the garden and asked if I'd heard anything about a forest fire in our
area.  I hadn't but he said he smelled woodsy smoke outside.  Later,
on the evening news broadcast, we learned the smoke/haze all over the
city resulted from the FL fires -- 500 miles away!!  There had been a
run on doctors offices/ERs by asthmatics, allergy sufferers, etc., all
day.   A rain during the night has cleared *our* problem and I
certainly hope it heads south and helps *them* as well.
