Fair use excerpt:
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. China the cat got her name after being delivered in
a crate holding motorcycle gear that a North Carolina man had ordered to be
shipped from Shanghai.
Eric Congdon opened the cargo freight that left port in China on April 3 and
found the furry stowaway, which had chewed through one of the boxes. After
at least 35 days on a ship, the cat was weak but still alive.

Poor, scared little girl. I hope the people in quarentine are kind to
her and find her free of disease so she can be adopted. Purrs for
her.

Purrs for the cat to be deemed healthy and that the co-worker can adopt him;
he looks sweet (if not a tad scared).
This isn't the first time we've heard stories of cats stowing away in crates
shipping from places such as China. I suppose it would be too much to ask
that they inspect the crates before they seal them up and load them on the
ship. What am I saying? Of course it would be too much to ask! (sigh)

At least he can count himself lucky they *didn't* leave any Chinese
catfood in the container.
Chinese motorbikes are crap, too.
