We adopted a new baby!

That's what the Internet message from Lynda's brother said.  It came
as something of a shock when her Instant Messenger jumped up on the
screen and she saw it there.  Not that they're too old to love or take
care of an infant, but at fifty-plus for both of them it's not
something we were expecting to hear.  Upon reading the message, Lynda
called and found out that what they had adopted was a baby cat!  It's
a cute little thing too!  Lenny has his PC configured as a server and
has a web-cam set up so when Lynda called to find out the details, we
got to see the little thing.

In a way, it's too bad.  We have no children but Lynda loves being an
aunt -- she gets to spoil the children (we don't really <g>) and then
send them home to be fed, watered, and cared for.  She'll just have to
settle for being a kitty-aunt.
