Make Levees, Not War

We have lit a candle for Dusty's safe journey to the RB.
Condolences all around.

Purrs that he had a gentle journey over the bridge, and has found a
nice, sunny windowsill for basking in the After life while waiting for
his hoomins.

Purrs also for his sad family. A departed cat leaves a huge hole in
the heart, and so many memories.  When sufficient time is passed, the
best suggestion I can make is for them to make a pilgrimage to their
local animal shelter/Humane Society and choose a new cat friend for
themselves, and rescue a deserving kitty (or two!) at the same time.

My son was 17 when our kitty Calvin left us.  They grew up together
and PJ was heartbroken, so I feel for your godson.  Purrs for him and
his family, and for Dusty for peace and freedom from a worn out
earthly fur-body.
