The cats look very happy though and pretty healthy. Healthier than
most strays! So not too bad a case of animal hoarding. I hope they
find good homes for them.

Very sad, she must really love cats to foster them inspite of the
heartache.

They at least seem very friendly and well socialized. I was
surprised, because a lot of them seem to have their ears tipped, which
I assumed meant that they were former feral or colony cats. Some that
turned out not to be adoptable were instead adopted by some of the
volunteers themselves.

I've always said that when I reach the sort of age where getting another cat
would be risky as the poor cat might outlive me that I would do fostering...
Listening to that I'm not so sure now

My great aunt got a kitten when she was 80, she died 18 months ago aged 100.
The cat, Benny is still living.
