I have a really painful ear infection. I have to put in eardrops and
cottonballs. Bucky has decided to help.

I am lying on my left side, balancing the bottle over my ear. Bucky has
decided he really needs to tell me how much he loves me. As he headbutts
me, a couple of drops roll down my cheek. Another headbutt, and I squirt a
few drops in my hair.

Bucky is purring at high volume as I manage to get all the drops into my
ear. As he starts licking my lips.

I am trying very hard not to laugh and send more eardrops off center.
Especially when Bucky tries to hook the cotton ball from my fingers.

Finally, The drops soak in, I've got the cotton ball in place, Bucky is
reaching toward my ear...

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

LOL!  Sorry, I know a painful earache isn't funny, but the antics of cats
often are - especially when they try to help.  Purrs for the earache to go
away soon.

Sounds like now that he's decided he's your cat, he intends to take very
good care of you.

Go Bucky

Ouch ouch ouch!! This brings back terrible memories of the horribly
painful ear infections I used to get in my childhood and early teens.
I'm so glad I don't get those any more! But I'm sorry to hear that
you have. Hope it gets better soon. Maybe with Bucky's help, it will
heal faster.

A few thing are guaranteed to attract cats around here.  Chicken,
especially with parmesan breading, or in a chipotle burrito. :P  Fish.
Broccoli and  carrots, oddly enough.  Chocolate, sure thing.  All
kinds of foodstuffs.

AND fine manual tasks that require concentration.  ;)

Purrs for your ear to get better soon.

Bucky loves you!  Bucky is a good nurse!  I surely do feel for you regarding
the ear infection.  I had them constantly as a young child until my tonsils
were removed when I was six.  Didn't get another one until I was 16 and I'd
forgotten just how darned painful they were.  I haven't had another one
since (knock on this fake wood desk).  Purrs for your ear to heal quickly.

Thanks for the laugh, Mark. I hope your ears aren't hurting you anymore.
Best wishes,
