If you remember that my neighbor rescud a kitten abandoned in a
snow-filled box and asked me if I would take it whne I returned to PA,
the story works out because I was trepid about taking #6 onboard and
they had grown to love it, so Bolly is staying in his forever-home.
An ugly surprise awaited me when I got here for there was a skeletal
black-and-white in the yard, and I was afeared (and still am) abour a
predator again. Turns out, when the husband found Bolly there were cat
tracks in the snow leading in my direction; he tried to follwo them
without success so it seems likely that the remains were probably of a
littermate and not a neighbors cat, and for that matter may have
succuumbed to the nasty January weather rather than a predator. Sad but
a little solace for my fear for my guys (still housebound from dusk to
dawn).

Aww, congrats to Bolly. Somehow, I wondered if they would be able to
give him up after having him for so long, waiting for you to return.

So sorry for the one who didn't make it. Winter is harsh on a little kitten.
