Wow. And no side effects. I want some of that! It's like
a...a...a...giant LOVE-IN!

Narrators text:
"Our beloved pets sometimes do things we don`t know about.
Cats from near and far are gathering here - they feel irresistable
attracted to a
inconspicuous plant.
For catnip they drop all and everything - they not only like the
blossoms,
they also sniff the leaves, wallow themselves in them and chomp them.
Somehow they are under the spell of the ambrosial catnip herb.
Most of them show up regularly. The aromatic oil makes them vivacious
and playful.
The more they have from it, the stranger they behave. Some of them
just withdraw from the action, others wallow in ecstasy or go
mousehunting - without mouse.
A strange behaviour - triggered off by a particular chemical which is
also to be found in
a tomcats urine. This behaviour usually appears with female cats ready
to mate.
But - catnip affects both genders. Not all cats react the same way to
catnip.
The susceptibility to the drug seems to be hereditary.
On our trip today we learned a bit about the libidinous side of the
animal kingdom
thereby learning a lot about ourselves."
I wonder what he meant with his last sentence. :-)
No clue. Should we all wallow in catnip?

Unfortunately, in humans it only has a mildly sedatory
effect. (It calms, rather than excites.)

So, then it would be alright to take it before I go tomorrow to the
dentist. :-)

Also great for human tummy troubles; last time I caught Stomach Flu Of Evil,
it did the nausea some good.
Blessed be,
