Can someone tell me how to view alt.binaries.pictures.animals? I am
on the dreaded Google groups. :) Thanks.

You cannot view binary groups on Google, sorry.
But you can view them on Usenet Replayer, just look up the group you
want from the list:
http://www.usenet-replayer.com/groups/index.html

There is a photo downloader called Grabit,
http://www.shemes.com/

Which allows you to download the cat pictures, or any other
binaries from usenet groups.
