There is a grey cat who I refer to as "Grey Mystery Cat", or "GMC". He
is fully feral, and has a nice mane of fur. Still, he comes to the
door in the morning and allows me to feed him (how nice of him!).
Lately, GMC has been limping, favoring his right front paw. He won't
leat me get near enough to look at it, though I try.
This morning, I looked out the window and saw GMC limping across the
concrete. Followed by Spot, who was limping. Followed by Blackie, who
was limping. Followed by Oreo kitty, who was limping.
What the heck?!
So I open the door to see who will let me check them out. Blackie
walks over to me normally, and rubs against me. He has no problems
with his paws. Spot lets me look at him. No problems. Oreo kitty
eventually walks over to me, and he likewise has no problems with his
paws, although he didn't care for the examination.
GMC is still limping.
Hmmm. I wonder if we have a bunch of overly clever cats playing follow
the leader. I sometimes think there is something in the water over
here, that makes all the ferals super intelligent. If they try to
steal my car, I'll know for sure.
Anyway, if y'all could send purrs for GMC to either let me get him to
the vet, or to heal up, I'd appreciate it.
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

purrs for the kitty... and depending on the condition of the car... theft is
theft... you don't have to tell the police who you think took it... Lee

Purrs on the way. It's heartbreaking to see an animal in need of help and
being able to do so. :-(

>Poor GMC... But the follow the leader routine sounds hysterically funny.

LOL. I guess that's the sort of thing that gave rise to the phrase
"copy cat". :)

their faces
