I say a prayer to Sammy most every evening. It goes something like
this, " Sammy, if we are to live together for the next 15 years, I
want to die one second before you. I won't be able to bare living one
second without you"
I always prayed for many years that when the time came, none of my Babies
would go to the Bridge alone.
My first beloved, Fritzie, was with me until he was almost 19. The day he
Crossed, I lost my job, and I am thankful. As hard as it was for all of us,
he passed away in my arms, hearing me tell him I love him and blessing him
while me husband said the Sikh prayer for the dying and his Uncle Jeff the
Prophet stood at his side. He went with those who loved him best at his side.
I say this prayer now every day, that on the final day for each of my
sweethearts, that they not be alone and go knowing they are loved.
Blessed be,
Baha
