Well, it looks like all of the wonderful purrs you have all been sending
have worked wonders, like usual. On Monday, Apr 23 Nancy and I will be
closing on the purchase of our house in Newton, IA. We will be spending
the next week or so slowly moving our stuff from Grinnell to Newton,
moving the kitties on the same day that we move ourselves.

As of some time next week the kitties will be able to explore a wonderful
big basement (where I plan to build them some nice, big trees and play
areas). Next weekend we'll be doing the last few chores needed to
kitty-proof the back yard, then they can start playing in their nice big
(fenced) back yard.

Finally - a house big enough for us, the kitties, and our stuff!

Hooray!  Only a 9-hour drive for me to visit, if I ever manage to get the
car fixed, and scrape together some gas money, and find a catsitter, I'll be
able to meet the Newton Mahoney clan!

Congratulations!  I'm sure you're looking forward to the time you're all
settled in your new home.

We sure are! In fact, we're only about 4 hours from Harri Roadcat's
original home. Quite a reasonable trip, should you ever want us to bring
Harri by for a visit :)

and really easy if we find somewhere half way and meet up for a day.  Lee

If I didn't have the obligations I already have, I'd be on the next freeway out there.
