My brother's 12 y.o. striped orange tabby went to the Rainbow bridge this morning. Mango had been battling an infection he got from a bite of some sort. He got out, so my brother doesn't know what got him. My brother has a good friend who is a vet, and she said that due to Mango's age, the infection wasn't getting any better. What a nasty thing to happen. Sounds like he was generally an indoor-only kitty, who got out, and just had a bout of bad luck. :( I like the idea of Mango sailing on, though.
