Yes, there have been reports of major damage. I live in East Texas, and we
received continual weather alerts and tornado warnings last night. We had a
thunderstorm, but nothing major. I planned to walk in Relay for Life
yesterday, but I finally decided that it wasn't wise to go out at that time.
The event had been moved indoors, but we kept getting warnings about
possible *baseball*-size hail in some areas. I was planning to walk at 10:00
yesterday evening (for the lighting of the luminaria), but I decided that it
just wasn't prudent to go out for something nonessential. I had made a
contribution in memory of my brother-in-law, and I think the fundraiser was
successful.

They rolled through here last evening. Rather spectacular, actually.
The wind was pretty bad, but we didn't lose any trees that I can see
so that's good. Some small hail but no damage. So all is well
(weather-wise) at Chigger Ranch...

We're all okay. Even the outdoor ferals came through with just wet fur.
