It was early in the morning, and chilly. Little Feet was between my
pillow and Senyah's pillow. Little Boy and Dulce Mae were down by my
feet. Buster was sleeping on Senyah's recliner, while Bucky slept on
my leather computer chair.
I woke up for nature's call, and thought it would be nice to have a
cat to cuddle with when I got back to bed. So I went into the living
room on my way back to bed, and opened a peppermint - one of Little
Boy's favorite vices.
Sure enough, Little Boy heard the wrapper being torn open, and
followed me to bed. I made extra space on my pillow, and he arranged
himself so that he could sniff my mouth from tinme to time.
Eventually I dozed, with Little Boy's purrs in my ear, and his muzzle
on my face.
Now sometimes Little Boy will also groom my head, which is nice. It
relaxes me, and I wake up with one side of my hair in some newage
fashion or another. But that's okay. This time, he decided to groom my
right eyelid.
Now, I can't stress enough how rough a cat's tongue can be. Especially
when he chooses to groom your eyelid. I took great care to clamp down
that eyelid, too, because I didn't want him accidentally grooming my
eyeball (yuck!).
After a few minutes of my "squinting" down my eyelid, Little Boy got
up in a huff and went back to the end of the bed. Oh well. It was nice
while it lasted.
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Stinky's too. ;)

Stinky sometimes tries to pry my mouth open with a paw, so he can get
a good, deep whiff. ;)

I'm glad you appreciated it. ;)
