We all awww when our little ones do the upside-downey head thing, with
their big, loving eyes, don't we?
Well, today Basho put a spin on his cuteness that Tom won't forget
anytime soon. Tom was on the computer this morning, while Basho surveyed
his domain from the very top of the computer armoire. At some point, Tom
looked up and saw Basho do the upside-downy thing, look him straight in
the eye, and proceed to barf his breakfast. It was a near-miss,
thankfully, but Basho gave Tom a big scare! ;-)

One recent night, I was awakened about 3 AM by retching sounds.
Cinders, curled up on my bed next to my pillow, sounded like she was
about to bring up a hairball.  I hastily moved her to the floor.
Fortunately, the noises stopped a minute or so later without her
actually throwing up.

lol!  Good thing it was a near mess, but what a picture!

Don't they always seem to know just where to barf in the most
inconvenient places?

More than once I've been awakened during the night by a cat
on my bed (atop my best comforter/duvet) making those
telltale sounds!  I don't have to be very awake to move
until the weight on top of me departs.
