Oh, no! It's too bad you don't have a smudge pot. :-(

I seriously hope we don't get a late one. We have pear trees, a cherry
tree, apricot tree, 1 apple and 1peach and  2 pecans. ( one native & 1
papershell) So far it's looking like a really good year for the fruit.
Too early to tell w/ the pecans.

Storms came through here.  It was 85F yesterday and dropped drastically
tonight.  Not freezing, just into the 60's.  No need for air conditioning
for the rest of the week, thank goodness.  Nor the heat, since I like it
cold and.  Persia's been hiding (back to normal!) from the thunder and
lightning.  Thankfully no tornadoes hit around here.  Quite a temperature
drop in a few hours.

Sending purrs that the bees have done their thing and that the freeze
doesn't get them all.

Weird weather.  I need to mow my yard tonight while it's dry, and before
the snow comes tomorrow.  I wonder if there's a rule about not mowing
before a snowfall.

The gardeners for this complex do this all the time to rid the grass of
dead leafs and other stuff.  It is beautiful here today, but there is
still snow in our future.  Best wishes.

You can't wear white shoes while mowing before Memorial Day or after Labor
Day (first Monday in September).

LOL.  Well, the white shoes wouldn't be white for long!  Green shoes are
acceptable, no?

Sure. But remember: Brown Shoes Don't Make It.

Year around.  Green shoes are always acceptable, even when unbearably tacky
looking.  Especially at Christmas time.

LOL I'd really like to know who came up with these odd dress code rules!
Where I live it can be hotter than Hades in September or even November.
Heck, I'm still wearing sleeveless dresses and tank tops sometimes up until
Thanksgiving so why not white shoes?  And why are you looking at my feet?
