"I had my surgery last Thursday and am now out of hospital.  I'm staying
at my aunt's until Friday then a return home to take things very
steadily.
The operation went according to plan although the surgeon said there is
a 50% chance that the hernia will recur :-(
On a lighter note, now I can walk a bit I borrowed my uncle's mobility
scooter this afternoon and took myself off for a jaunt around the local
park.  I was getting a bit stir-crazy so the wind in my hair at 4 mph
was quite exhilarating :-P"

Tweed also sends purrs and prayers to all those who need them.
