They are the last 2 in the album.
In the last one you can see another example of Vino's obsession with
jeans.  He's a happy camper now that fall is coming and I am wearing
them again.  I can't even lay them out on the bed while I shower without
him claiming them.  When I gently tried to pull them out from under him,
he protested with a loud and whiny "NOOOOOOOOOO!"
I ended up wearing a different pair of jeans.  Heh.

His Orangeness Rules!!!!

Can you clone him?  I, for one, would want a copy.

The picture of him on the jeans - reminds me of the Borg....
your jeans will be assimilated - resistance is futile
(sorry, watched that $*#)_@ movie on TV the other day :D)

If it wasn't so gosh darned creepy (not to mention expensive) I'd
consider it ;-)

Hey Helen, haven't seen you around these parts for ages!  Are you busy
with your new job?  Do you like it?  Are you in terrific shape now from
all that biking?
I feel bad for not having popped in for a cuppa in such a long time.
But I only get up to Perth for 1 day every 2 months and I've spent the
whole time up there in tile stores or plumbing supply stores.
Fun...not!
We will have to try to get together again at some point.  I hope you and
your crew is doing well.

Yes, we must definitely catch up before too long. I haven't been reading
the group that much and I've mostly just lurked even then. Plumbing
stores...sounds like the building has begun, has it?
The job's going well, I think. At least my probation period is over and
they kept me on. I think of you guys whenever a helicopter flies past
the office!

Yes, it is well underway now.  You can check out the pics here:

Looked in a million plumbing stores and all that but still got the best
deals on ebay.  Got every single sink and tap in the house from ebay,
saved thousands :-)

That's great that your probations is over and they kept you on.  I'm
sure they like you just fine.  And I hope *you* like *them*!

Wow!  I'm amazed at how quickly it's progressing.  Here's hoping for no
construction snags (and of course that Vino likes his new digs!)

Wow, that ramming technique is fascinating. I imagine it doesn't just
stay warm in the winter, but cool in the summer with that kind of wall.

Piggybacking here - didn't see your original post, Britta. Anyway,
it must be so exciting to watch this house go up from nothing. I find
it exciting, and I'm halfway around the world, and it's not my house. :)
Great pictures!

It is extremely exciting!  Even more now that the builder thinks it will
be finished in Sept or Oct instead of just before Xmas!  Wooooo :-)

Yes, it is quite fascinating.  I was actually expecting it to be a lot
less low tech.  At least I thought that the mixture would be pumped in
from a big truck through a huge hose or something and I thought the
ramming machine would be as wide as the mold.  Stuff like that.  But
it's all very hands-on.
The concept is that the walls will heat up during the day when the sun
shines on it and then radiate the warmth during the night.  Around here
there's quite a large temperature difference between day and night and
also the sun shines a lot, so the concept should work.  I guess it must
work because quite a few houses in the area are built this way.  The
rest are brick.

Too cute! I threw a  pair of jeans over the back of a chair to dry two days
ago. The legs front wise, and they make a small tent against the back of the
chair. That has suddenly become Sugar's nap spot. Tucked away behind the
jeans.

I use the communal laundry room in my building, and the other day I
desperately needed to wash some clothes but all the slots were taken
(you can only reserve two hours at a time). Only half an hour was free,
so I didn't have time to dry my clothes in the dryer. So I spread them
over the benches in the sauna. Both cats were naturally there
immediately, rolling all over the wet clothes - and leaving them full of
cat hair.

Reminder to self: check washing machine for kittens before closing the
door...

I know somebody who did put a kitten through the wash.  He had been in
there for a few minutes before his human realized he was missing.  No
long-term damage though the poor little guy was coughing soap for hours.

I know of one family who put their pet snail through a full wash cycle.
He went on to live three years longer.

In our household clothes must be hung/folded/stored *immediately* after
coming out of the dryer or they become cat beds. Rufous in particular
loves to sleep on laundry, doesn't have to be warm, cold works too. :)

It could be worse when Fugazi (RB) was a kitten she was obsessed with a pair
of Dave's Y-fronts, which she stole from the washing basket so they weren't
even clean. They were like her security blanket and she took them everywhere
with her and wouldn't let us take them off her

What a cutie! He looks really pretty in the sunlight. I have no idea why
cats like to lie in positions that look totally uncomfortable to me. But
if I had as many joints as a cat has, maybe I'd do it, too. :)
