What a mess this recall is

What a nightmare this recall has been.  People are plain just nuts and I
don't blame them.  I know I was when I found some of the recall products on
my shelf.  I am hoping for the best that none of my pack will have any
problems. Specially Rumble who has diabetes and used to be on diazepam which
harms the kidneys and liver. < on my knees praying >

People are just plain a@@holes.  A few people have come in crying and I
have been there and told them I know how they feel.   I have furballs myself
and show the pictures I carry.  They feel a little comforted when I tell
them this fact and that I am worried about mine also.  But then we get to
the jerks that say they are going to sue us so we loss everything.  I have
been laughing at them as we escort them out the store; where they are making
a scene tell them the facts that a store can't be held liable for products
that have been recalled unless the store knowing sells them after the recall
has been published.  The moment we got the alert I had the stock crew pull
all cat food and dog food. The cashiers were told not to ring up any
customers that have pet food in their baskets.   Our shelves are bare right
now I have an emergency shipment of  food being sent to the stores on
Monday.
We have the bonus cards and I had the management company begin
calling or emailing all listed customers to alert them about the recall.  We
have big signs in all the windows saying bring any brand of your unopened
cat or dog food back for a full refund even if it is not on the recall list.
This has been a nightmare I am happy that I have some great customers many
have come up and gave me a big hug for doing what I am doing.  I am going to
be sorry when I sell my stores.

I see Iam's site and Eukanuba's sites are down right now

I kind of had a feeling this kind of thing would happen.  You have done
all you can.  I hope this settles down soon.  I would love to know how it
all happened.

My first concern is for the animals.   My second is sympathy for the
stockholders in these companies.  I'll bet heads will roll.  MLB
