I just came from there. The line stretches around *two* blocks. Better hurry
before they run out of paint.
PS: It tickles.

Is this the "what the hell is an orgasm" grandmother?
I am *drowning* in St. Patrick's Day. Case in point: a bartender
wearing a green Red Sox polo shirt with shamrocks on the sleeves.
It's a long story how I came to meet this bartender, but that post
is for another day.
Takayuki and Suz, if the above puzzles you, look out your window. :)
If either of you still have questions, please email me privately.
I know this is a cryptic message, but all will be explained soon.

Well you know of course that St. Patrick couldn't have driven the
smakes out of Ireland because he didn't have a car. :P

Oh dear, I was wondering if you be trapped by the Lepruchans with Red
Sox.
Hope they've set you free by now.

We didn't use to have much of a St Paddy's day feast around here, but
more and more Irishpeople seem to have moved here lately. They even had
a parade this year.
I went to the theatre last night and saw a sign outside a pub nearby,
saying they were celebrating. The pub is called O'Malley's, I think it's
the oldest so-called Irish pub in Helsinki (I remember frequenting it 20
years ago), but more have cropped up the last 10 years or so.

They do. Come to think of it, the play I saw was written by an Irishman
- Oscar Wilde. "The Importance of being Ernest." But it was a
coincidence that I happened to see it yesterday. :) Excelletn actors,
beautiful costumes.

I LOVE TIOBE. It always cracks me up-- the better the actors are, the
better it is, of course, but the dialogue is so funny. When I was in
college, I took a pencil and underlined every funny line in the play,
and the book was just covered in pencil markings.
I love it from the very beginning:
ALGERNON: Did you hear what I was playing, Lane?
LANE: I didn't think it polite to listen, sir.

If they all tried to visit Ireland at the same time there probably wouldn't
be enough room. ;-)
