I've just had a very special first ferret-experience....

I was washing up my dishes by hand. Miss Lily Whiskers likes to
supervise by sitting on the windowsill by the sink and playing with
the soap bubbles. All of a sudden, out of no-where, I had a pair of
ferrets helping me. Gertie and Barney had been running around the
kitchen, and I didn't realise that they had access to the kitchen
surfaces via a series of stacked boxes in the corner....

Have you ever seen ferrets with soap bubbles and water when supervised
by a cat? Oh. My. God! Soap bubbles are EVIL! They're out to get poor
little ferrets! And did you know, the more you dook and do the ferret
war dance at them, the more the bubbles attack and the more Mis Lily
Whiskers keeps trying to push you into the washing up bowl!

New dishes where the ferts knocked one off the counter because of
their dooking.... £6

Time taken to clean up all the spilled water and replace the kitchen
rug.......£23

Belly aching laugh from watching 2 ferrets having fun in a washing up
bowl full of soap bubbles and water being supervised by Miss Lily
Whiskers....... PRICELESS

Welcome to the crazy world of ferrets ;-)
Did they also get wild when they were trying to dry themselves afterwards ?

I might pay to see that. ;)

They're out to get Stinky, too.  Poor Stinky, it's so pathetic to see
him afraid of anything.

Wheee!  Fewwets are fun!  Someone said they are the pet for those who
find kittens insufficiently stimulating. ;)

LOL! Literally!

BTW, I see the phrase "ferret war dance" and think of Meerkat Manor;
meerkats have a war dance, too. Are the behaviors similar?

The only way I can describe a ferret war dance, is that they puff up
like a cat and then bounce around like a rubber ball. It's hysterical,
and bizare to watch!
