It can be  but right now Fire alerts  have got us all very worried.   We
have been under red flag fire threat warnings for about a month now.  The
littlest things and stupidest people are causing fires.  We are going to
have a another 1998 year if this keeps up.

Hi John!  I'm owned by a grey domestic shorthair named Persia.  She, too,
has me wrapped around her paw.  Sadly, someone front-declawed her before she
came to me but she doesn't seem to be any worse for it, thank goodness.
She's approximately 8-10 years old.  Only she knows for sure and she's not
telling!

I've only ever had birds and one dog (Sampson, lived 18 years, died in
1999).  Then in January 2001 Persia showed up at my back door and *demanded*
I let her in.  Well, she knew me for the sucker that I am.  And she's
comfortably esconced in her forever home :)

Actually, not so frozen. We had record temps of +8 C (46 F) yesterday,
and today promises to be just as warm. Usually we'd be knee-deep in snow
this time of year, but now it's all melted away. This year, our winter
only lasted about 2 months, since the snow didn't arrive until late
January. OK, I shouldn't jinx it. We'll probably have snow storms next
week and all the way into May. :P
