Poor Rosie update

We have Rosie back from her teeth cleaning.  She's a little wobbly but
otherwise O.K.  We found out that she has two bottom teeth that have not
erupted.  They are just behind her incisors. We purchased some very
expensive chewy things called C.E.T.  I got the fish flavor because I'm sure
she would not have anything to do with the chicken flavor.  She's not big on
treats in general.
Cinder is under the bed.  Maybe she thinks she's next.

Annie,

I don't know if you're in the US or not, but if you are I have a recommended
place to get the chews for Rosie (we order online from them, good prices &
service):
http://americanvetsupply.com/i_018VR-CET702_C.E.T.+Chews+Cat+Fish+96+Count.php

$21.45 for a bag of 96 fish flavor chews.  Five's vet recommended them when
we adopted her (three years ago this March 24!) and they've been wonderful
at helping keep her tartar levels down (that plus a mostly dry diet of
Purina ONE weight management).  We also have the fish chews for Five, she
goes bonkers for them, and she *expects* them for her bedtime treat!  When
we got the smaller bag from the vet's office they were around 45 bucks a bag
- much cheaper online and pretty quick shipping.

Hi annoyed,
Yes, we are in the U.S. It's good to know that Cat Five is doing so well.

The pack we bought from the vet cost $19.50 for 30 chews. Pretty steep, I
think, for a daily dose for two cats.

Thank you for the link for a more economical alternative.  How fast was the
shipping?

If the cats like them, we probably will order more when we are in one place
long enough.

I'm glad she's back and her ordeal is over, thanks for the update.

Awwww!  Cinder will soon be comforting Rosie.  And collaborating about
revenge!  I'm glad all went well.

They want to do a dental scaling on Persia.  I just don't have the funds for
it right now.  Her annual shots are due in April.  And so is everything
else. (I'll owe the IRS $1100, which I don't have.)  The vet will stretch
out payments for me, they are good about that.  And they love Persia.  But I
have no idea what the dental thing will cost... anesthesia, cleaning,
possible tooth removal?  I dunno.  I'll deal with it, though.  I always take
care of my Persia :)

We paid a little more than $200 for Rosie's teeth cleaning in Corpus
Christi, Texas.  I think it was similar in Savannah, Georgia last June for
Cinder.  This is the whole package, including pre surgery bloodwork, etc.
They did not need any tooth removal.

They are not interested in the expensive C.E.T. chewies.

Maybe they'll stretch out payments for me.  They've done it before and know
I'm good for it.  I *always* pay my bills!  If they say she needs it, I know
she needs it.  They are not the type to try to scam people.  Always there,
always fair. <G>

Poor Rosie.  Purrs that she gets back to her old self quickly.  And "you
don't have to go to the v*t this time" calming purrs for Cinder.
