Yeah, what gives? Last weekend I wore shorts. Today I'm shivering from the
same 12 degrees and 20 below windchill. AND I GOTTA GO OUT ALL DAY!

Huh.  It's 62F here and we haven't come near to hitting the high temp for
the day yet!

New York, Susan, and I know your usual weather would make us seem like
a bunch of whiners down here.  I have two friends from Montana, and I
just know they stepped outside today and said "Cold?  you call this
cold???" ;)

The 7 inches of snow we received about 4 days ago has disappeared.  It is
53 degrees at 5:30 pm.  My tulips are up about 4 inches and the daffodils
are up about 6 inches.  What a surprise!mlb

Oh be quiet, (:->) -21°C with -39°C windchill this morning. Not brutal, but
bad enough for March.

I replied to this last night somewhere between early nap and bed. That
obviously did not turn out to well. :-)

I'm just west of Toronto.

Hope you didn't have any friends or loved ones caught up in that mess on the
400!

I'm tired of shoveling all this "Global Warming" in downstate NY :P We
had better weather visiting in Whitehorse, Yukon for the start of the
Yukon Quest sled dog race.  North of Braeburn it was -28°C (-12°F)
with no wind and we got out of the van to look at elk on the hillside.
Outside with no hat and no gloves for 15 minutes and I didn't feel the
cold while snapping photos, and it was beautiful.  I was colder
putting out the recycle bin at home last night with the damn winds
howling.

And to be back on topic for this group, our hosts there have an older
cuddly cat that loved all the attention we gave her as ours was in a
boarding home during our vacation and we missed her so much (the local
Best Friends pet boarding folks are great! They don't mind that we
called every day to check on her).
