I guess cats are telepathic, or maybe it's because i work for TED, but
they always seem to know
To refresh, when i brought all three of my cats to work with me last
december, the doctors all agreed that they were chubby. Also Imp and
Mayhem had struvite crystals.
So I put them on w/d (thank goodness for employee discounts) and have
been feeding them that.
But i want to bring them in now for a recheck and to check Imp and
Mayhem's urine.
But here's the thing, I feed them in the morning and then get ready
for work. As soon as I'm ready, I look up and already Imp and Mayhem
are sculking away to hide under the bed.
*sigh* So i have to go to work without them.
Damn, they seem to know when i want to bring them in. Mischief is
pretty easy to catch. Since she doesn't seem to care if i pick her up
and carry her, until she sees the cat carrier.
Grrrr, i wnat to bring them in to see if the w/d has been working.
Maybe if i shut the bedroom door........well at any rate it'll have to
wait until at least thursday. Tuesday is surgery day and i'm the
surgery technician.
Ah well,
Kristi

Agreed. We left the carrier in the living room for two weeks since we
brought Five back from boarding her while we were on vacation to the Yukon,
as she would be due for her annual shots. We even threw kibble into the
carrier these past weeks and she'd happily hop in and out to munch away.
Sunday night I even put in one of her C.E.T. fish flavored chews that she
*LOVES* then closed both the doors with her *outside* (front door slightly
ajar, top load door down) to stimulate her to figure out how to get it. She
even climbed on top of the carrier trying to pull the door open with her
sitting on it! :) Finally she figured out how to open the front door,
walked in and got her dental chew, and she even walked in again afterward
and lied down after that looking for more treats (we would *never* tease her
by closing her in the carrier after putting kibble in it, trying to make her
less fearful of the carrier).
Monday Kathi was taking her to TED and Five was slinking around the floor,
in-between and under furniture trying to avoid getting picked up and put in
the carrier! They just *know*!
